A road traffic collision involving three vehicles occurred earlier this Tuesday evening

BREAKING: Second multiple-vehicle collision in an hour in Limerick

EMERGENCY services have responded to a second multiple-vehicle collision in the space of an hour in Limerick this Tuesday evening

The incident occurred on the motorway between Junction 29 Ballysimon and Junction 30 Rosbrien at around 5.30pm. 

A TII spokesperson said: “Delays to your journey will occur. Consider a different journey route or start time. When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and obey instructions from emergency services.”

It is not known how many vehicles were involved or the the extent of injuries suffered, if any, of those in the vehicles.

Around an hour earlier, there was a three-car collision on the Dublin Road.
