From Passion to Purpose: Melissa Ferguson on Creating VOZA in Limerick
This International Women in Business Day, we’re celebrating the incredible talent and entrepreneurship of women in Limerick.
We spoke to Melissa Ferguson of VOZA about her work and passion for people to achieve radiant skin through long-term skin health and not quick fixes!
1. What first sparked the idea for your business?
I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin. I noticed a gap in the market for treatments that truly focus on long-term skin health rather than quick fixes. That inspired me to create a business where clients could achieve naturally radiant skin in a thoughtful, holistic way. That inspired me to create VOZA—a place where clients can achieve naturally radiant skin through care, expertise, and a holistic approach. Last year, rebranding to VOZA helped us fully express that vision in a way that feels modern, combining expertise, care, and a luxurious, and deeply personal experience
2. How would you describe what your business does best?
VOZA is all about guiding clients to their healthiest, most glowing skin, using treatments and routines that enhance natural beauty. We focus on optimal skin health, without resorting to Botox or other temporary fixes. What sets us apart is our ability to combine professional expertise with a personalised, nurturing approach that makes every client feel seen, cared for, and confident in their skin.Voza is a sanctuary for transformation, confidence, and self-care
3. What advice would you tell yourself if you were starting over?
I’d tell myself to trust in the value of authenticity, patience, and doing things differently. Focusing on natural results, long-term skin health, and holistic wellness can feel unconventional in an industry full of quick fixes, but staying true to that vision is what builds loyalty, trust, and meaningful, lasting results. I’d also remind myself never to underestimate
the importance of listening—both to clients and to my own instincts—because that’s the most powerful compass for meaningful growth.

4. Where do you see the business heading next?
I believe what’s next for VOZA is deepening our focus on true skin health and continuing to elevate the standard of results-led treatments. I want to keep refining our personalised approach, investing in advanced technologies that genuinely support long-term skin transformation, and expanding our education so clients feel empowered and informed about their skin. Growth for me isn’t about scaling quickly — it’s about building something trusted, respected, and known for integrity, natural results, and exceptional care.”
5. Do you have a personal motto you live by?
Love your skin. It’s simple, memorable, and at the heart of everything we do at VOZA. It reminds us and our clients that true beauty comes from caring for yourself, embracing natural results, and making choices that support long-term skin health.”
