The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident but is now understood to be reopen
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in County Limerick this Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at the Ferrybridge in Kildimo on the N69 shortly after 9am. It is understood that a vehicle struck the bridge.
Gardai, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics with the National Ambulance Service all attended the scene.
It is not known at this time how many people were in the car or if they sustained any injuries.

The bridge was closed to traffic, resulting in long tailbacks in both directions. However, it is believed that the road has since reopened.
An Garda Siochana have been contacted for comment.
