THERE were cheers, music and a touch of ballroom glamour at Coláiste Iósaef in Kilmallock as Traitors star Paudie Moloney returned home to give supporters a preview of his moves ahead of the final of Dancing with the Stars on Sunday.
The Kilmallock native, who first won over audiences on The Traitors, was joined by his professional dance partner Laura Nolan for a lively performance that had the crowd clapping along on Wednesday afternoon.
Taking to the floor, the pair treated the audience to a spirited routine to ‘Stop the World and Let Me Off' by Declan Nerney. Paudie appeared relaxed and in high spirits as he chatted with supporters and thanked the local community for the backing he has received throughout his run on the popular RTÉ dance competition.
Speaking to Limerick Live, Paudie said he was "so happy" to be back home. "It's absolutely fantastic to be home in the community that I'm representing and all of Limerick for that matter."

Pro dancer Laura Nolan added: "We have felt their support from the start so we're just so excited to see them actually in person, those who've been voting because without them we wouldn't be here."
Paudie's brother, Raymond Moloney reflected on teaching Paudie some dance steps in their younger years. "I remember teaching him how to dance when I was 21 and he was 10. I taught him how to dance inside in the kitchen at home... He's after doing well and hopefully, he'll go all the way."
Paudie secured a coveted spot in the Dancing with the Stars final after receiving his best score to date in the competition in the semi-final.
Paudie and Laura will throw back to Week 4 and Country Week with a Quickstep to ‘Stop the World and Let Me Off’ by Declan Nerney in the grand finale on Sunday. The couple will then perform a second 'Showdance' routine, a freestyle performance that allows them to combine different dance styles to showcase the creativity, skills and storytelling abilities they’ve learned throughout their journey.
All eight eliminated celebrities will return on the night, including Michael Fry, Brian Kennedy, Amber Wilson, Anne Cassin, Niamh Kavanagh, Stephanie Kelly, Philip Doyle and Jordan Dargan. The contestants and their pro partners will return a very special one-off comeback performance to Myles Smith’s ‘Stay (If You Wanna Dance)’.
The Dancing with the Stars Grand Finale airs on Sunday at 6.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
