BREAKING: Emergency services respond to multiple-vehicle collision on Limerick motorway

EMERGENCY services have responded to a multiple-vehicle collision on the M7 Limerick to Dublin motorway this Monday lunchtime.

The incident occurred between Junction 28 Castletroy and Junction 27 Birdhill, on the approach to the Mackey roundabout, at around noon.

Gardai and Limerick Fire and Rescue Service have responded to the scene.

A TII spokesperson said: “Delays to your journey will occur. Consider a different journey route or start time. When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and obey instructions from emergency services.”

It is not known how many vehicles were involved or the seriousness of injuries, if any, of those in the vehicles.
