The late James Keogh of Feenagh
THE funeral arrangements have been announced for James Keogh of Feenagh whose death in a road collision has left the West Limerick community reeling only weeks after the tragic loss of his close friend John Sheehan.
James died tragically following a road traffic collision near Kilmeedy on Sunday just over a month after John Sheehan died in a fatal collision. James attended the month's mind for John in Granagh last Sunday and he then went to the Kilmeedy Road Run to lend his support to the charity initiative prior to his own passing. He was a gifted mechanic and had been living in Croom for the last 17 years.
James is sadly missed by his loving wife Siobhan (née Sheahan), father-in-law Seamus, mother-in-law Mary, daughter Rachel and extended family and his many great friends in the biking community. Predeceased by Aaron.
James is reposing at O'Grady's Funeral Home, Ballingarry, (V94 TW13) this Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm. Arriving at St Mary's Church, Croom on Friday for 11.30am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire Cemetery.

Tributes have been pouring in for the late motorcyclist with mourners saying that James was a "brilliant mechanic" and "pure gentleman." Other mourners noted that the late mechanic always had time for a chat and was a "great charity man."
"James was a true gentleman, the kindest man you could meet."
Cllr Adam Teskey also paid tribute to James and offered his condolences to his family and fellow bikers. "This is the second tragedy within a short span of weeks to hit them."
Deputy Richard O'Donoghue attended the Vintage Road Run in Kilmeedy on Sunday and paid tribute to James saying that he was a "great friend" and "looked after everyone."
The Independent Ireland TD added that there was a minute's silence at the vintage road run for all the local people who've passed away in recent times. "Little did we think that another one of our own on the month's mind of John would go.
"To have one of the motorbike club go down, it hurts everyone," said Deputy O'Donoghue. "That to me is very sad having such a brilliant person have their life run short after being out... supporting his good friend John."
May he rest in peace.
