St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest celebrations of the year in Limerick, and The Old Quarter is getting ready for a full weekend of music, Irish culture, and festive fun in the heart of the city.
Located on Little Ellen Street, the popular bar and restaurant will be fully decorated for the occasion, welcoming locals and visitors alike to enjoy a lively St. Patrick’s atmosphere, complete with green pints, Irish food specials, and a packed schedule of live entertainment.
Music lovers will have plenty to enjoy throughout the St. Patrick’s weekend, with live performances taking place across the weekend. Live music from Local Irish musicians will take place on Friday and Saturday (10:30pm), followed by a Mothers Day Sunday evening session at 6pm.
On St. Patrick’s Day itself, The Old Quarter will host two live music sessions (2pm and 6pm) giving visitors the perfect spot to continue the celebrations after the city’s parade and daytime festivities.
Adding to the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, The Old Quarter will also host a traditional Irish dancing performance at 4:30pm on the day plus, guests can enjoy a selection of Irish food specials created for the weekend, making it an ideal stop for lunch, dinner, or a relaxed bite between celebrations.
The bar will also be serving its popular green pints, a St. Patrick’s Day favourite that has become a tradition for many celebrating in the city centre.
Whether you’re stopping by after the parade, planning a night out with friends, or simply looking to enjoy the atmosphere in the city centre, The Old Quarter promises a warm Irish welcome and plenty of entertainment throughout the celebrations.
