The death has occurred of Edward Wallace, late of Foxrock, Dublin and formerly of Bruff, Co. Limerick on September 6, 2024.

Surrounded by his loving family, Trish, Alexander, and Lauren are devastated to announce the death of their beloved husband and Dad, Edward, in the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London, following a short illness.

Reposing on Friday, September 20 from 4pm to 7pm, at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28).

Edward will be deeply missed by his extended family and large circle of friends.

Private cremation at later date. House private.

The death has occurred of Mary O'Doherty  (née O'Connor) of Colbert Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, in the tender care of St Paul’s Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, on September 18, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Eddie.

Mary will be sadly missed by her loving children Edward, Mary, Billy and Doris, grandchildren Edward, Eóin, Sarah and Hayley and her ten great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sisters Kathleen, Peggy and Rosaleen, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pre-deceased by her sister Patsy.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Friday, September 20 from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, on Saturday, September 21 for Requiem Mass at 10am.

Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Marie Doody (née Nash) of Ballinruane, Kilmeedy and formerly of Monlena, Castlemahon.

Retired N.T. Raheenagh National School. Marie passed away, peacefully, on September 18, 2024 at Windmill Nursing Home, Churchtown, Co Cork.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Neily, sister Joan (O’Brien), sister-in-law Ella (McNamara) and brother-in-law Jackie (O’Brien). Loving mother of Seamus, John, Marina (Kelly), Niall, Avril (Daly) and Edel (Hanton).

Sadly missed by her brothers Pat, Con and Johnny, sisters-in-law Joan, Kathy and Kathleen, daughters-in-law Patricia and Amanda, sons-in-law Ger, Seamus and Bryan, aunt-in-law Noreen, nephews, nieces, grandchildren especially Gearoid, great-granddaughters, other relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Ahawilk (V42 FY81) on Friday, September 20 from 6pm until 8pm. Arriving at Feohanagh Church on Saturday morning, September 21 for the Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Aglish Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sr Patricia Prenderville of Ard Mhuire, Larchwood Ave, Limerick and Parteen, Co. Clare. Of the Salesian Sisters.

Passed away, peacefully, in Athlunkard Nursing Home, Limerick on September 19, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Ann and Thomas, her brothers Sean, Terence, Noel, Pat and Thomas, her sisters Mary, Margaret and Joan, Deeply regretted by her sister Terry, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and her Salesian Sisters in Ireland.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday, September 20 from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Christ the King Church, Caherdavin on Saturday, September 21 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery (V94 A062).

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) O'Shaughnessy of Cooleens, Co. Cork and of Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, after a brief illness in Mallow General Hospital.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa (née Fitzgerald), sisters-in-law Mary, Liz and Brigid, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Reposing at O'Malley Funeral Homes New Line Charleville (P56T184) on Friday from 4.30 pm until removal at 6pm to Holy Cross Church.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12.30 pm. Followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
