LIMERICK made it back-to-back wins in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League when inflicting a heavy 15-point defeat on Tipperary in their Round 4 fixture at FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday evening.
John Kiely's Limerick side gained a firm grip on this contest right from the throw-in, racing into a 0-7 to 0-0 lead after just 11 minutes in front of an official attendance of 15,221.
Limerick were 13 points to the good at half-time, 0-20 to 0-7, after taking a vice-like grip on the contest.
Despite an improved showing from the home side in the second half, Limerick retained the upperhand and eased to an impressive 0-36 to 0-21 success.

Limerick remain unbeaten against great rivals Tipperary since 2019, having won 10 of the last 13 meetings between the sides.
