THE Limerick County & District Underage Soccer League (LCDUL) celebrated their 50th anniversary at a special dinner event at the Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel in Adare.
LCDUL is going from strength each year and reaches across three counties with Emerging Talents programs being run across many age groups with the highlight of the year is participating in the Gaynor and Kennedy cups.
More than 140 teams compete in the league, with some 2000 children registered over the age of 11 across boys and girls.

Clubs competing in the league include Aisling Annacotty, Ballylanders, Cappamore, Castle Utd, Charleville, Croom, Cullen Lattin, Galbally, Herbertstown, Holycross, Kilfrush, Kilmallock, Knockainey, Mungret, Murroe, Regional, St Nicholas FC, Pallas and Parkville
The Chairman of the League is Rory O'Connor, with Secretary John Collins and Treasurer Brigid Daly.
