UNIVERSITY of Limerick will host a free night of Coaching Conversations with three renowned Irish sporting stars speaking at the event this Tuesday, May 28 in the PESS building from 7pm.

This event will discuss insights into coaching and empowering young athletes. Our esteemed speakers include Jim Crawford, the current coach of the Ireland U21 team, as well as two graduates from the MSc Applied Sports Coaching Anna-Marie McCarthy (Ladies Gaelic Football) and Angela Griffin (Gymnastics and Special Olympics Ireland).

Jim will discuss lessons learned on his coaching journey, while Angela and Anna will discuss their experiences working to retain teenage girls in sport.

Coaching Conversations believe that the issues surrounding female participation in sports and the expertise offered by our speakers are highly relevant and deserving of media attention. The event aims to attract a diverse audience, of local club coaches from a wide range of sports.
