EMERGENCY services are dealing with an incident at the M7 flyover at junction 29 Ballysimon in Limerick.
According to one report, there was a road traffic accident involving two vehicles around 8.40am this Monday morning.
The collision is blocking the ramp on to the northbound M7 from the Ballysimon interchange.
AA Roadwatch say the crash is causing delays for traffic exiting the M7 northbound.
Across the city, according to AA, it is a busy morning for traffic heading into the city from Ballinacurra Road onto O'Connell Ave. Busy also outbound on O'Connell Avenue.
Delays also on the Shelbourne Road approaching Union Cross and nearby on the Ennis Road over Sarsfield Bridge.
Meanwhile, planned works in Limerick Tunnel will take place from tonight, Monday, until Thursday.
There will be a single lane each way, contra-flow traffic operation in the tunnel from 7.30pm to 6am each night, with contra-flow traffic operations in effect.
"Due to the traffic management required, we request that no abnormal load permits be approved for transit through the tunnel during the affected periods," a spokesperson said.
