Motorists in Limerick advised that roads will be manned due to Dermot Kennedy concerts

Road users warned of potential diversions in Limerick due to Dermot Kennedy concerts

Dermot Kennedy is set to play three gigs at Thomond Park

CONCERT GOERS and motorists alike are being advised that traffic management will be in place to accommodate those going to Dermot Kennedy this weekend. 

Three nights of concerts from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9 will see over 90,000 people ascend on Thomond Park to watch the Irish singer songwriter perform live. 

Traffic control will be in place, with road users being asked to remain vigilant at these times. Concert goers are being asked to avail of city centre street parking and multi-storey car parks.

The following road traffic light junctions and regional routes will be managed by gardaí, as required: 

Hassetts Cross

Union Cross

Caherdavin Cross (Formally Ivan’s Cross)

Condell Rd/Shelbourne Rd

Ennis Rd/Jetland

Ennis Rd/Greenhills/Inagh Drive

Sarsfield St/Henry St

Sarsfield St/O’Connell St

William St/Gerald Griffin St

Cathedral Pl/Newtown Mahon

Bus set down and pick up will be available at Technological University Shannon Campus by the Event Organisers MCD.

Entry via Cratloe Road (L-11445-30) opposite Brookville Gardens and exit at the TUS Millennium Theatre Side at Moylish Roundabout (R445-32).
