Road closed as fire services attend collision in Limerick city centre

MOTORISTS are advised to avoid Mallow Street in Limerick city centre following a collision which required emergency services to attend. 

Two fire brigades and a fire service jeep were deployed from Limerick city fire station and attended the scene of the collision this Tuesday morning, June 10, at approximately 10:30am.

The incident occurred at the Catherine Street and Mallow Street junction.

While the road was closed for almost an hour, it was hoped the road would reopen before lunch. 

Limerick Live has reached out to An Garda Síochána for comment.
