BREAKING: Multiple-vehicle collision on Limerick motorway

TII advises that delays to your journey will occur and consider a different journey route or start time

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a multiple-vehicle collision on the M7 Limerick to Dublin motorway.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) reported the incident between J27 Birdhill and J28 Castletroy at 11.19am. It involved motorists heading in the direction of Limerick.

A TII spokesperson said the multiple-vehicle collision occurred four kilometres east of the Castleconnell area.

The number of vehicles involved or injuries suffered by their occupants, if any, is not known at this time.

“Delays to your journey will occur. Consider a different journey route or start time.

"When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and obey instructions from emergency services,” said a TII spokesperson.
