No serious injuries have been reported

Emergency services attend scene of collision in Limerick village

THERE were long delays in the village of Kildimo following a road traffic collision this Sunday evening.

A garda spokesperson confirmed gardaí and emergency services attended at the scene of a road traffic collision on the N69 at Kildimo.

"The incident occurred at around 5pm. The road is open," said the garda spokepserson.

It is understood that it was a two-car collision. It is believed that none of the occupants of the cars received life-threatening injuries.

Google Maps is still showing heavy traffic in Kildimo and on the outskirts. However, this is expected to ease once the vehicles have been towed away.
