TWO teens were rushed to University Hospital Limerick following a collision involving an e-scooter and a car in Limerick city.

It is understood that the road traffic incident occurred on Monday night on the Father Russell Road, Dooradoyle.

A garda spokesperson said : "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision between a car and a e-scooter that occurred in Limerick city on November 25 at approximately 10pm.

"Two male youths in their teens were injured and were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment."

The extent of the injuries suffered by the two youths is not know. It is thought that the driver of the car was unhurt.

"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing," said the garda spokesperson.
