MONALEEN were crowned premier U20 hurling champions on Sunday afternoon in Kilmallock.
The Castletroy outfit narrowly defeated Bruff. Matthew Fitzgerald scored the match winning point deep into injury time which proved to be the difference between the teams.
2024 has been fantastic year for Monaleen which has seen the City based club win premier minor, premier U20 and junior A championship titles.
