The death has occurred of Denis Courtney, 

Church Road, Coolmagort, Beaufort, Kerry and formerly of Central Ballroom, Patrickswell, Limerick. 

Denis passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 22nd 2026 at University Hospital Kerry.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Agnes, daughters Marguerite and Kathy, sons Robert, Denis Junior and Alan, daughter-in-law Joanna, his dearly loved grandchildren Jerry, Katie, Laura and Meghan, brother-in-law Patie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing Wednesday evening (Feb.25th) at Flynn's Funeral Home Killorglin V93PK66 from 6pm - 7.30pm.

Funeral arriving Thursday morning (Feb. 26th) to St. Mary's Church Beaufort for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery Beaufort.

Mass will be live streamed here.

The death has occurred of Mary Kiely (née Balfry)

Caherconlish, Limerick

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mary Kiely (née Balfry) Tantore, Caherline, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick and formerly of Boskill, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick and Ex St. Ailbe’s Credit Union

On February 23rd 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully, at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Sean and adored mother of Finton and Gemma.

Mary will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, cherished grandchildren Adam, Eddie and Charlie, Fionn, Orla and Saoirse, daughter-in-law Colette, son-in-law Paddy Murphy, sisters Margaret and Breda, brothers John, James, Eamonn, Gerard, Joe and Frank, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Nan, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Pre-deceased by parents Eddie and Mary.

Reposing Thursday, February 26th, at Archbishop O’Hurley Church Caherline (V94 H7Y2) from 5pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass will take place, Friday, February 27th, at 11.30am, Funeral afterwards to Caherconlish church grounds.

Mary's Requiem Mass will be streamed live (link to follow)

The death has occurred of Una Mangan (née Barry)

Dunmore, Galway / Carrigkerry, Limerick

Una Mangan, née Barry, Dunmore Co. Galway & formerly Carrigkerry Co. Limerick. Peacefully at home in her 97th year, February 23rd 2026.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Martin & Catherine & her brother Pat.

Una will be sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mary (Stack), brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews & nieces, great grand nephews & nieces, relatives, neighbours & a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore - H54 NY61 - this Wednesday, February 25th, from 5-30pm, with removal at 7-30pm to The Church Of Our Lady & St. Nicholas, Dunmore - H54 Y573 - Funeral mass on Thursday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Dunmore Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) McDonnell
Ennis, Clare / Limerick

Joseph (Joe) McDonnell, Ennis, Co. Clare and formerly of Limerick. 23rd February 2026, peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway.

Dear husband of Joan for 65 years. He will be missed greatly by his children Karen, Ross, Kevin, and Blue, his daughters-in-law Maria and Sandra, grandchildren Leah and Kayla, their partners John and Eoin, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Joe lived a marvellous life and was fortunate in his friends and colleagues at Sheils of Ennis, the University of Galway, and Shannon College of Hotel Management.

Reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Cabey’s Lane, Parnell Street, Ennis on Thursday evening (26th February) from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to SS Peter and Paul Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Friday (27th February) at 10am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Extension Cemetery Limerick.

House private. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, at Joe's request, to Médecins Sans Frontières.

At Joe’s request please wear bright colours when attending the funeral.

The death has occurred of Denis Naughton, Ballydoole, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick and formally of Auto Diesel Services, Dock Road, Limerick.

Denis passed away peacefully in University Hospital Limerick following a short illness on 23rd February 2026.

Pre-deceased by his wife Mary, parents Patrick and Johanna, sisters Mary Lehane, Stacia Murray, Joan Heavenor and Una Naughton.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Marian, sons Gerard and Denis, grandchildren Marleena and Ardan, Finland, Patrick, Conor and Maggie, U.S.A., daughters in law Teela and Margie, sister Helen, brother John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Denis will be reposing in St. Mary’s Church, Pallaskenry, V94 HW01 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Thursday 26th February 2026.

Funeral Mass on Friday 27th February at 12 noon followed by burial immediately afterwards in Kilcornan Cemetery.

House strictly private.
