The death has occurred of Julia (Sheila) Bohan (née Cunningham)

London and formerly of Ardnamoher, Galbally

A memorial Mass will be held this Saturday evening, December 17, at 6.00pm in Lisvernane Church, Co Tipperary for the repose of her soul.

The death has occurred of Shane Gerard Bourke

Of Ballyneety, Limerick, V94 VPP5

Passed away suddenly, at his residence, on December 14, 2022.

Late of Ballysimon Tyre Centre, Neville Furniture, Cratloe and Dunne Stores, Parkway.

Beloved son of the late Maureen.

Deeply regretted by his father Tony, sister Gillian, brother Darragh, Darragh's partner Jen, work colleagues, cousins, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence (V94 VPP5) this Saturday, December 17 from 4pm to 9pm.

Arriving on Sunday afternoon to St. Patrick's Church, Knockea, for requiem Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Cahernorry Cemetery.

No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre, Limerick.

As a mark of respect, Ballysimon Tyre Centre will remain closed this Saturday, December 17.

The death has occurred of Rev James (Jim) Byrnes

Of Kimmage, Dublin and Pallaskenry

Died peacefully in the care of Tallaght University Hospital on Thursday, December 15, 2022, aged 80. Missionary in Ireland, including as chaplain in Peamount Hospital, and in Sierra Leone. Predeceased by his parents Patricia (née Butler) and Dr James, his step-mother Ellen, and his sisters Bryde, Catherine, Patricia and Theresa. Sadly missed by his sisters Anne (Barry) and Marian (Foley), brothers John, Noel and Willie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, Spiritan confrères and his many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor, Dublin at 11am on Saturday, December 17, which may be viewed at https://mcnmedia.tv/camera/holy-spirit-parish-church-kimmage. Followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Pallaskenry arriving at approximately 5pm. Mass of committal will take place at 1pm on Sunday, December 18, followed by burial in Kilcornan Cemetery.

Of Rockhill, Bruree

On December 13, 2022, unexpectedly, following an accident. Beloved son of the late David and Nora Cotter.

Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Una, Cassie, Helen, his twin sister Clare, brothers David, Timmy and DJ, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, especially his niece Helen, his godchildren Katie, Jennifer and David, grandnephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and wider family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing this Friday evening, December 16 from 5pm at Daffy's Funeral Home Ballyagran, followed by evening prayers at 7pm. Removal to arrive Saturday for 12noon Requiem Mass at St Munchin's Church, Rockhill followed by burial afterwards to Bruree New Cemetery.

Formerly of Glenview Gardens, Farranshone and Brothers of Charity, Bawnmore.

Sheila died peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff of Killeline Nursing Home, Newcastle West.

Beloved daughter of the late Paddy and Elizabeth Daly. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Anne, Mary and Louise, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place at St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand on Saturday, December 17, at 10am, followed by burial with her parents in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Formerly of Dundon Callanan (Solicitors) and Institute of Legal Accountants of Ireland.

On December 15, 2022 peacefully at Athlunkard Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Gerry and Daughter of the late George and Ruth. Predeceased by her sisters Joan and Margaret. Deeply regretted by her remaining loving siblings Wendy and David and her beloved nephews and nieces. Fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and neighbours in Alandale Orchard, her colleagues in Dundon Callanan (Solicitors) and the Institute of Legal Accountants of Ireland.

Passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022 at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Gerry, she will be lovingly remembered by her children Aileen, Donal and Aisling, grandchildren Fionn and Amelia, sons-in-law Dermot and Bob, daughter-in-law Emma, brothers Philip, Michael and Jerry, sisters Pat and Kay, sister-in-law Anne, Mary, Breda and Ann, brothers-in-law Enda, Colm, Martin and Mike, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Sunday, December 18 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Mary passed away, peacefully at Milford Care Centre surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2022.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, sister Anna, brothers Seamus and Gerard, brother in law Michael, sisters in law Anne, Marian and Bernadette, nieces and nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins family relatives and friends.

Mary's funeral cortège will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Knockainey, this Saturday, December 17, for requiem Mass 1.30pm, burial afterwards in The Hill Cemetery, Knockainey.

Peacefully at his home on December 14, 2022. Beloved husband of Mary (Guiney) much loved father of Michael, Christina (Murphy), and Margaret (Murphy). Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, daughter in law Pia, sons in law Paudie and Jason, adored grandchildren, Luke, Holly, Josh, Mikayla, Nathan, Dylan and Alison. Sister Chris, brothers Mossie and Jeddy, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Allen's funeral home, Rockchapel (P51 W891) on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St. Peter's Church, Rockchapel. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, burial afterwards in Mountcollins Cemetery.
