Judge Harney convicted Damien Kelly for speeding, driving without a license, and failure to produce his license
A MAN has been fined €750 for committing road traffic offences in Limerick.
Damien Patrick Kelly, 39, with a home address at Pike Avenue, Garryowen, Limerick drove 96km/h in a 60 zone without a driver's license on the Ballysimon Road on June 16, 2025 at 6pm.
After detection by gardaí, the man failed to produce his licence at the garda station and also neglected to pay a fixed penalty notice that was issued to him.

Prosecuting Inspector Denis Waters told Judge Patricia Harney that Mr Kelly has 27 previous convictions - three of which are for road traffic matters.
Inspector Waters clarified that Mr Kelly wasn’t disqualified from driving at the time of the offence.
Judge Harney convicted Mr Kelly for speeding, driving without a license, and failure to produce his license.
Judge Harney fined him €750, and gave Mr Kelly three months to pay the penalty.
