May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Breda Aherne, Convent Road, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick, peacefully in her 82nd year, at University Hospital Kerry on Monday, February 17.

Predeceased by her uncle Michael Caden, Breda is very sadly missed by her loving partner John Nelligan, the extended Nelligan family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Friday, February 21 from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass for Breda will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Abbeyfeale on Saturday, February 22 at 10am.

The death has occurred of Mary Brennan (née Hennessy) Somerville, Tramore, Waterford, Kilfinane, Limerick and London, UK peacefully surrounded by her loving family in University Hospital Waterford on Tuesday, February 18.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank.

Mary will be sadly missed by her much loved and heartbroken children Ann and Paul; her adoring and treasured grandchildren Hannah and Luke; her son-in-law Ed; her sisters Breda, Doreen and Statia and her brother David. Mary will be deeply missed by all her nieces and nephews her extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, her many friends, and all who knew her.

Mary's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, February 22 at 1pm at St Andrew's Church, Kilfinane Co Limerick, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. 

Mary's funeral cortège will leave her residence in Somerville at approximately 9:05am and will walk from Tramore Credit Union/Lodges Corner at approximately 9:20am to arrive at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore for a special Rosary Service in honour of Mary starting at 9:30am. Daily Mass will commence at 10am.

The death has occurred of Sr Josephine Gleeson, Athlunkard Nursing Home, Westbury, Corbally, Co Clare, formerly of Reparation Convent, Laurel Hill Avenue, South Circular Road, Limerick and Ballinlough, Cork peacefully, in the care of Ailín and the staff of Athlunkard Nursing Home, on February 19.

Predeceased by her parents and siblings.

Very deeply regretted by her Reparation Sisters in community, her loving family, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Thursday, February 20 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Arriving to St Nicholas Church, Westbury, Corbally, on Friday, February 21 for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery, Limerick.

The death has occurred of Jennifer (Jenny) Lyons, Annacotty Co Limerick formerly of Castletroy, Co Limerick on February 17 peacefully at home.

Predeceased by her sister Nikki. Jenny will be sadly missed by her loving partner Owen, her parents Ken and Renza, siblings Karen and Keith, Owens extended family, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Jenny will be reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20 from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral arriving at St Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen on Friday, February 21 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Kilmurry cemetery.

The death has occurred of Robert O'Donnell, late of Lower Grange, Newcastle West, Co Limerick, Washington DC and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, unexpectedly on February 10 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (Mulcahy), dearly loved father of Keith, Ewan and Meghan.

Sadly missed by his loving parents John and Elsie, his brothers Hugh (New York) and Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his Nieces Rachel, Aiveen, Ciara, Emily, Nephews Hugh, Kevin, Andrew, aunts, cousins, wide circle of friends and his extended network of work colleagues. 

Reposing at his parents residence, Lower Grange, Newcastle West, eircode V42PW99, on Sunday, February 23 from 4pm until 7pm. Arriving at St Munchin's Church, Knockaderry on Monday morning, February 24 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Clouncagh.
