May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Batt Leahy of Caherlevoy, Mountcollins, Co Limerick.

Predeceased by his sisters Margaret, Kathleen and Nóin and his brother Joseph, Batt will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sister-in-law Mary, relatives neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel Village on Monday (December 18), from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass for Batt will take place in The Church of the Assumption, Mountcollins, on Tuesday at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Batt's Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the Templeglantine, Tournafulla & Mountcollins Parishes Facebook page.

The death has occurred of Jack (Jackie) O'Brien of Curragh, Castlemahon, Limerick.

Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Nash) and predeceased by his parents John and Mary; sister Kit; brothers Mike and Willie and granddaughter Alanna.

Sadly missed by his children Gerard, Owen, Marie (Histon) and Brendan, Gerard's partner Maura; daughters-in-law Ciara and Karen; son-in-law John, sister-in-law May; grandchildren Susan, Jack, Chael, Marguerite, Bran, Rachel, David, Johnny, Lucy, Isabelle, Olivia, Anna, John, Patrick, Bobby and Alice; great-granddaughters, Ella and Holly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Jack will repose at his son Owen's residence at Mahoonagh, Castlemahon (Eircode V42 YH63) on Monday (December 18), from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Castlemahon, on Tuesday (December 19) for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by burial afterwards at Castlemahon Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ann Ross (née Aherne) of Glenview Gardens, Farranshone, Limerick. Late of Sexton Street North, Thomondgate, Limerick. Predeceased by her sister Geraldine.

Beloved wife of Bernard and dearly-loved mother of Amanda, Roseann, Bernard, Gordon and Keith.

Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Matt and Liam; daughters-in-law Sarah, Amanda and Ailish; grandchildren Kate, Cian, Rachel, Emily, Sarah, Rebecca, Penny, Grace, Ben, Evan, Charlie and Ellie, sisters Carmel, Patsy and Maura, extended family and friends. 

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (December 19) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by private cremation.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Biddy) Ryan (nee Harding). Formerly of Oola, Co Limerick.

Predeceased by her husband John and her son John, Bridget is regretted by her sons Tim, Vincent and Anthony; daughters-in-law Jean and Margaret; grandchildren Kieran, Georgina and Sinéad; great-grandchildren Holly, Grace and Luke; sister Kitty; brothers John and Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Ryan & White's Funeral Home, Pallasgreen on Tuesday (December 19) from 5.30pm until 7pm.

Arriving to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Oola, on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Caherconlish Cemetery.
