The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Cooney, Upper Lacknalooha, Mallow, Cork / Feenagh, Limerick

The death has taken place of Thomas (Tom) Cooney, Upper Lacknalooha, Mallow and late of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Feenagh, Co. Limerick, who passed away peacefully on 17th January 2023 at his residence, beloved husband of Mary (nee Cleary) and dear father of Conor, Aisling (Whitty) and Thomas.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sisters Margaret (Casey) and Frances (Leo), brother Dr. Con, son-in-law Aidan, grandchildren Isabel, David, Thomas and Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relativies, neighbours, friends and former colleagues.

The death has occurred of Nessa Flynn (née Noonan) O'Dwyer Villas, Thomondgate, Limerick City, Limerick

Late of the Legion of Mary. Nessa died peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her heartbroken family.

Very deeply regretted by her loving husband John, son Steven, daughter Tracey, nieces, nephews, the extended Noonan, Flynn and Kilbridge families, other relatives, friends and neighbours. May She Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Thursday (Jan. 19th) from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, followed by removal to St. Munchin's Church, Clancy Strand, arriving at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday (Jan. 20th) at 11.00am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.

The death has occurred of Catherine Mary HALSEY (née O'Connor) Knockane, Mountcollins, Limerick

Catherine Mary Halsey (nee O’Connor), Hertfordshire, England and formerly of Knockane, Mountcollins, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 27th 2022 in England.

Catherine is very sadly missed by her son Derrick, brother William, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren, nephew, niece, all her other relatives, neighbours and friends. Catherine is predeceased by her husband Ken, parents William and Ellen, brothers Denis, Timmy and the recently deceased Martin. Rest In Peace.

Funeral cortege will arrive at The Church of The Assumption, Mountcollins, on Friday, January 20th 2023, at 10.45 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Katie) O'BRIEN, Abbeyfeale, Limerick

Kathleen (Katie) O'Brien, London and Abbeyfeale, passed away peacefully at King's College Hospital London on January 8th 2023. Very sadly missed by her husband and family.

Reposing at Harnett's Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale, on Wednesday, January 18th, from 7.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday, January 19th, in The Church of The Assumption, Abbeyfeale, at 11.00 a.m. Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa Abbeyfeale.

Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.churchservicestv/abbeyfealeparish

The death has occurred of Tony HARTY, San Antonio, Avondale Drive, Greystones, Limerick

Tony died peacefully, in University Hospital Limerick, on 17th January 2023.

Beloved husband of Mary (née Fahey) and dearest father of David (Sligo), Aidan and Michael (Dublin).

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Mary, Denise & Trisha, grandchildren Stephen, Avril, Gordon, Cian, Ella & Michaela, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours & many friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Friday, 20th January, from 5.30pm. Removal at 7pm to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road to arrive at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 21st January at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery. House private please.

The death has occurred of Thomas Prout, Ballinruane, Kilmeedy, Limerick / Clonmel, Tipperary

Thomas passed away peacefully on 17th January 2023 in the wonderful care of the staff at Milford Care Centre, in the presence of his loving wife Deborah. Son of the late John (Seanie).

Sadly missed by his wife, adored daughters Leonie and Elise, mother Brigid, brothers Gerry, John, Jimmy, Francis, Mark, Paul and Martin, sisters Mary, Ali and Cathy, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Sextons Funeral Home, Broadford on Friday from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving at St. Ita's Church, Kilmeedy on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 1pm which will be live streamed (link to follow), followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Milford Care Centre or Clare's Wish Foundation

The death has occurred of Jimmy Ryan, St. Flannan's Terrace, Castleconnell, Limerick

Ryan, Jimmy, St. Flannan’s Terrace, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick (ex caretaker Stradbally Cemetery) 17th January 2023 peacefully in the excellent care of Ward 3D University Hospital Limerick.

Sadly missed by his loving brothers, sisters, brother in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home Castleconnell on Friday 20th January from 5 to 7 p.m.. Arriving on Saturday 21st to St. Joseph’s Church Castleconnell for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. which can be viewed on www.castleconnellparish.ie .

Burial afterwards in Stradbally cemetery Castleconnell. House Private please. Family flowers only please
