Jerry Fish to headline Newcastle West Music Trail Festival

Singer-songwriter Jerry Fish will headline the diverse festival in Newcastle West

THE annual Newcastle West Music Trail Festival will return later this month where multi-platinum selling Jerry Fish, and band, will headline the festival with a rooftop performance. This will be complete with dancers, an outdoor bar and pizza truck.
Highlights include nine year old Indian piano prodigies, Scottish Pipes, Brass Funk from Dublin, performances in the local Courthouse by John Spillane, and a salsa vibe in a local pharmacy.
The event will take place in the county town on Saturday, April 26 and will see Newcastle West turn into a vibrant festival site for the day, where 100 people meander from one venue to the next to hear a variety of performances.
These venues are not your ‘standard’ venues, but instead, a more quirky selection, like Dooley's Pharmacy, Newcastle West Courthouse, Marguerite’s Bakery, and Ela Maria Fashion Boutique, to name a few, to help celebrate the businesses in the town.

Attendees will be played through the town, from venue to venue, by Scottish Highland Piper, Ali Cairns, in a pied-piper fashion. The Music Trail Festivities will come to a head at Cleary's Bar which is known for its Window Sessions performances where Jerry Fish and band will take to the stage.
The festival poster was created specially by local artist Jonn Shann, the winner of this year's Music Trail Festival poster competition. The illustration will be further immortalised with a run of limited edition festival T-shirts.
