'Slán Sabrina' - Irish fans accuse Sabrina Carpenter of using 'anti-Irish' lyrics in her latest single

Barry Keoghan's girlfriend has been accused of allegedly using "anti-Irish" lyrics in her latest single 'Please Please Please.'

The 24-year-old American singer-songwriter hinted her new single is about Dublin actor Barry Keoghan.

The pair "hard launched" their relationship in the music video and the single tells Keoghan to "not embarrass her."

Irish fans have reacted to one lyric in particular, where Keoghan's nationality is allegedly in question.

"I heard that you're an actor, so act like a stand-up guy. Whatever devil's inside you, don't let him out tonight. I tell them it's just your culture and everyone rolls their eyes."
