Jerome O'Connell, Limerick Leader
A native of Pallaskenry in County Limerick, Jerome has worked at the Limerick Leader since 2001.
He joined as a news reporter and later worked in the sports department. He progressed to GAA correspondent, a position that he held from 2005 for 17 years.
He was appointed to the position of Limerick Leader news editor in November, 2022.
Educated at Salesian College, Pallaskenry and Mary Immaculate College Limerick, Jerome is married with two children.
He has a keen interest in current affairs and sport - particularly Limerick GAA.
