Rail services impacted following 'tragic' incident
IARNRÓD Éireann has confirmed that rail services on one of the busiest routes in the country have been impacted following a 'tragic' incident.
The transport company says all services have been suspended through Sallins station in County Kildare.
The 15.05 Galway/Heuston service is stopped at Sallins and Iarnród Éireann says the line will remain closed until further notice.
The incident, which occurred this Tuesday afternoon, was the fourth fatal incident on the rail network in recent weeks.

While no further details of the incident have been confirmed it's understood a number of investigations are underway.
