‘A moment that took our breath away’: Limerick influencer marks new chapter with home purchase

POPULAR Limerick influencer and entrepreneur Sinead O'Brien has marked a major personal milestone, sharing that she has bought her own home with husband Simon Fitzgerald. 

Taking to social media to reveal the happy news, Sinead who's also known as Sinead's Curvy Style, said: 

"There are moments in life that take your breath away. This is one of the moments! We did it."

"I know that both our dads are sharing a smile with us today, on the place we now call home."

Sinead's dad, former Limerick publican Dermot 'Dobs' O'Brien passed away in March 2023. Mr O'Brien was formerly of Castle Street and The Arch Bar on William Street in Limerick city.

Simon's dad, the late John Fitzgerald of Crecora passed away in January 2021 after contracting Covid-19.

Sinead added that they are "so excited" to make the house their home. "I have so many ideas buzzing through my head I literally cannot sleep with the excitement."

This marks a new chapter for Sinead and her family as the founder of Vacious shapewear also recently revealed that she's expecting a baby girl. This news was made all the more sweet as Sinead previously bravely spoke about the heartbreak of losing a baby last year.

The Patrickswell woman revealed to her 136k Instagram followers that they have already picked colours to paint the rooms in the house and that the painter is arriving on Tuesday."

Sinead said she's been pinching herself everyday since they got the keys and that she's "so excited to officially move in soon."

She also shared that her young son Jacob has already made a start on the painting. 

Many well-known locals wished Sinead well on this new chapter for her family.

Celia Holman Lee of The Holman Lee Model Agency commented: "Oh my God, what a magnificent home. Huge congratulations and all the happiness in the world to you and your family."

Limerick stylist Chloe Markham added: "Omg stop! Massive congratulations to you and your gorgeous growing family. What a special time."

Limerick model Shauna Lindsay said she can't wait to visit Sinead's new home and influencer Chloe Walsh said she was "beyond proud" of Sinead.
