Delays expected to ease as crash on N18 Limerick to Shannon road cleared

A CRASH on the N18 Limerick to Shannon road has been cleared and delays are expected to ease.

The single vehicle collision occured on the N18 southbound past J6 Bunratty this Tuesday morning.

AA Roadwatch is reporting that gardai have now cleared the crash and the delays from before J7 Sixmilebridge should begin to ease.

There were heavy delays in the area, according to motorists.

In Limerick, AA Roadwatch is reporting that it is busy eastbound on the N69 through Clarina and inbound from Shannon Banks to Athlunkard Street on Corbally Road.

If you’re coming in from Parteen it’s a little busy approaching Ballynanty and then further in at Union Cross, according to AA, and it is busy too on the Dooradoyle Road approaching Crescent Shopping Centre.
