THE GAA have confirmed the referee for this Sunday's Munster SHC clash between Cork and Limerick at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
The much-anticipated 2pm throw-in will see James Owens take charge.
Owens took over from Thomas Walsh during extra time of last year's Munster SHC final after the Waterford whistler suffered an injury.
The Wexford man was also in charge of the 2021 All-Ireland final between the pair and the 2023 Munster round robin game.
The 'Rebels' opened their Munster campaign with a win over 0-29 to 1-22 win over Tipperary at FBD Semple Stadium.
Debutants William Buckley and Barry Walsh combined for 0-9 from play for Ben O'Connor's side.
For Limerick, John Kiely is expected to have a full panel to choose from as Tom Morrissey has returned to training.
