A SECTION of the M18 Limerick to Galway motorway is closed and diversions are in place after a serious crash.
The M18 is closed southbound between J12 Killow and J11 Dromoland in Clare this Sunday night after a collision involving a bus and a number of cars, it is understood from sources at the scene.
Two ambulances, gardai and at least five units of the fire service attended the scene.
Traffic can divert by leaving the M18 at J12, travelling via Quin village before rejoining the motorway at J11, according to AA Roadwatch, which reports that it is busy on approach to the incident.
