Ambulance at scene of double-vehicle collision in Limerick

AMBULANCE and emergency services are at the scene of a double vehicle collision in Limerick city this Friday night. 

The incident, which involved two cars, occurred at the junction of Childers Road and Ballinacurra Road afer 10pm. 

Limerick Fire Service was alerted to the incident at 10.27pm, and immediately dispatched three units to the scene. 

It is understood that the ambulance service was at the scene before the Limerick Fire Service. 

It is not known, yet, the number of people involved in the incident and the extent of injuries, as no injuries have been reported.
