Castletroy overcame their Limerick rivals Ardscoil Ris 33-21 to set up a meeting with Rockwell College in the next round

LIMERICK sides Castletroy College and Árdscoil Rís played out an exciting Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup clash at Liam Fitzgerald Park on Wednesday afternoon.

After an entertaining derby fixture which produced eight tries, Castletroy College emerged victorious on a 33-21 scoreline to advance to the next round of the competition.

Castletroy College will now meet Tipperary side Rockwell College in a quarter-final eliminator fixture at Fethard Town Park on Wednesday, January 28, 2pm.
