Sarsfield Street will be closed to traffic between 7pm and 12 midnight this Wednesday
MOTORISTS are being advised that Sarsfield Street will be partially closed to traffic from 7pm this Wednesday.
Limerick City and County Council says the emergency closure of one lane – between Henry Street and O’Connell Street – is necessary to enable repairs to Irish Water apparatus.
All vehicular traffic on route to O’Connell Street and William Street from Sarsfield Street and Henry Street will be subject to one lane traffic use.
Traffic delays are likely during these roadworks and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the closure which will remain in place until midnight.
Motorists are being advised that a similar closure will take place this Thursday evening.Emergency Road Closure: Sarsfield Street (R527) between Henry Street and O’Connell Street will be closed on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th April 2018 from 7pm to midnight to enable repairs to Irish Water apparatus. @aaroadwatch https://t.co/tYDYU0bQYH
