The death has occurred of Dermot Gallagher, Moig South, Askeaton, Co. Limerick and formerly of Irish Life. 

Peacefully at Kerry University Hospital following a short illness on 14th August 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, siblings Leo, Alan, Ella and Noelle.

Adored father of Shane, Triona and Paul, daughters in law Noreen and Indra, son in law Don. Devoted grandfather to Jack, Sam, Max and Melissa, sisters Joan and Rosann, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Kieran Madigans Funeral Home, Main Street, Askeaton V94 K598 this Thursday 17th August from 5pm to 7.30pm. Arriving at St Mary's Church, Askeaton at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12pm. Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on (link to follow). Burial immediately afterwards at Reilig Mhuire Cemetery, Askeaton.

The death has occurred of Margaret Peggy Mackessy, Church Road, Knocklong, Limerick.

Peggy passed away peacefully at St. John's Hospital Limerick 14th August 2023.

Predeceased by her mother & father Mary & James, sisters Kit & Mary.

Sadly missed by her brothers Michael, Sean, Con, Jimmy & Maurice, sisters Eily, Pauline & Joan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, family relatives & friends.

Peggy will be lying in repose at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick (V35XV96) this Wednesday evening (16th August) from 5.30pm until 7pm.

Funeral cortege arriving at St. Joseph's Church Knocklong Thursday morning (17th August) for requiem Mass at 11.30am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick Moran, Shelbourne Avenue, Limerick and late of Roadstone, Gooig.

August 14th, 2023, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. Beloved husband of Ann.

Dearly loved father of Richard, Bob, Jenny, and the late Carol. Cherished Grandad to Patrick, Ellen, and Hamish. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Sabrina, son-in-law Matt, brothers Liam, Vincent, Greg, and Frank, sisters Delores and Yvonne, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, and friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Thursday (17th August) from 4:30 pm to 6pm. Followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday (18th August) at 11am, followed by burial in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
