EMERGING fashion designer Kayla Gorman has received a major publicity boost after Love Island winner Julia Majchrzak wore one of her creations during an appearance on The Six O’Clock Show.

Julia, who won Love Island UK Series 13, wore a custom design from Kayla Gorman Designs, while in Dublin to celebrate her new role as brand ambassador for Inglot UK and Ireland.

The reality TV star also shared the look with her followers on Instagram as part of a photo dump documenting her time in the capital, describing that the dress “made me feel like a Tinker Bell”.

The moment marks a notable milestone for the emerging designer, whose work has already featured on the runway at Ireland Fashion Week 2026.

Founded by Kayla Gorman, the label is known for its expressive silhouettes and personal approach to storytelling through fashion.

Kayla graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) with a BA in Fashion Design with Collection Design, where she developed the skills behind her work.

During her time at LSAD, Kayla attracted attention for independently recreating a look from the Jean Paul Gaultier x Simone Rocha Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration, demonstrating her technical ability and attention to detail.

She went on to showcase her collection as an official graduate designer at Ireland Fashion Week 2026, presenting her work during the DAMHSA Graduate Runway Show at the RDS in Dublin.

Julia’s choice of a Kayla Gorman Designs brings the Limerick label to a wider audience, with the television appearance offering a further platform for the designer’s work.

The appearance came during a busy Dublin visit for Julia, who has attracted a sizeable Irish following since her Love Island victory.

Although based in London, she has been spending time in the capital promoting her latest brand partnership and sharing glimpses of her visit on social media.

Julia was announced as the new face and brand ambassador for Inglot UK and Ireland on Tuesday, October 13, adding another high profile partnership to her growing list of opportunities since leaving the villa.

The beauty brand also has a connection with Limerick, having previously operated a standalone store in the Crescent Shopping Centre.

While that store has since closed, Inglot products remain available locally through a counter inside Dunnes Stores at Jetland Shopping Centre on the Ennis Road.

Having progressed from studying fashion in Limerick to presenting her collection on the Dublin runway, Kayla Gorman is continuing to build her profile, with Julia’s look bringing further attention to the talent emerging from the county.
