The influencer and model shared her struggles with staying organised in a social media post, after forgetting that the previous day was a bank holiday

INFLUENCER Joanna Murray, better known as Joanna Cooper, took to social media this week to share how a bank holiday blunder ultimately led her to a new realisation regarding her lifestyle.

Posting to TikTok on Tuesday, October 27, the model shared her struggles with staying organised after forgetting that the previous day was a bank holiday.

Speaking in the video post, captioned, “I’ll never be type A, and that’s ok”, Joanna said: “Any time I try and be organised, I fail. It’s now led me to believe that some people are just meant to be chaotic, and that is how they work, and I need to stop putting pressure on myself to be this organised person.”

Married to retired Munster Rugby star Conor Murray from Patrickswell, the Derry native shared that it wasn’t until she attempted to drop their son off at creche on Monday that she realised it was a bank holiday.

“Last night, I went to bed at half eight, for the first time ever, and made an hour by hour of my day today so I could get everything done and I woke up this morning so excited to tackle everything. I got into the car to leave Alfie to creche, pulled up outside, lights are off doors are closed – it’s a f***ing bank holiday!” Joanna continued.

Returning home with her son for a “cosy day”, the influencer explained how her change in plans caused the cancellation of a scheduled ADHD assessment.

“I did have an ADHD assessment booked for 11 o’clock, which I had to cancel, and then that’s when I had the realisation that maybe I’m not supposed to be organised and on the ball, and I’m supposed to be chaotic, and that’s just how I’m supposed to live my life, and if I take the pressure off and lean into the chaos, which I usually do to be fair- short story long, I’m cancelling the ADHD assessment and I’m not going medicated,” Joanna smiled.

Alongside her work as an influencer, the former Miss Universe Ireland winner is also the founder of a cocktail business, Coops Cocktails, and the co-host of the Happily Murrayed podcast, which she presents with her husband.

After years of living in Limerick during Conor’s rugby career, the couple have shared their plans to move to Derry in a month’s time with their son Alfie.

Having posted consistent house updates across their social media pages throughout the year, the family currently reside in Dublin as they await the completion of renovations being done to their new Northern Irish home.
