WATCH: 'There is so much excitement in Mungret, all we need to do is win now' says Mungret's Clare O'Meara

Mungret St Paul's ladies footballers will take on the AIB Junior All-Ireland final this Sunday

"THERE is huge excitement within the team and around the parish and after winning the Munster we want to go one step better and get the All-Ireland title as well" says Mungret St Paul's midfielder Clare O'Meara ahead of her sides historic AIB Junior All-Ireland club final this Sunday against Dowings of Donegal in Parnell Park.

Only two other Limerick clubs have reached this stage of the championship before Mungret with Sunday's game made even more special for the city club due to it being their first ever All-Ireland final in the clubs history.

John Horgan's charges have had to battle from the moment their won the Limerick Intermediate County final against Knockainey back in August, with all of their Munster and All-Ireland championship games taking place in their opposition’s home grounds.

This battle hardened team are well capable of beating Dowings of Donegal on Sunday with only one cup left to collect this season.
