"Obviously disappointed not to get a result out of it, being honest about it over the course of an hour we probably didn't do enough. Our efficiency probably let us down a small bit in that area. We move forward, everything is still to play for," said Limerick U20 hurling manager Evan Loftus.
Cork defeated Limerick 1-22 to 1-20 in the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Wednesday evening. The Shannonsiders host Clare next Wednesday in the final round of the Munster Championship round-robin series. A win will secure Limerick's place into the knockout stages of the competition.
