WATCH: Is the Rose of Tralee still as popular? We ask the people of Limerick city

THE Rose of Tralee International festival is currently taking place with the winner being announced tonight (Tuesday).

We took to the streets of Limerick City to see what people think of the competition. Do they still watch it? Is it outdated? Should it be changed or left as it is?

Limerick Rose, Molli Ann O'Halloran graced the stage of the dome last night and blew the audience away with her rendition of Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid.

New York Rose, Róisín Wiley, whose parents hail from Limerick will be on the show tonight with hosts Dáithí Ó Sé and Kathryn Thomas.

Watch the Rose of Tralee on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player from 8pm.
