Munster and Leinster are set to renew their age-old rivalry in the pair’s United Rugby Championship Round 4 clash later this year

Munster will travel to Lansdowne Road on Saturday, October 24 to face their fiercest rivals in what is sure to be a mouthh-watering clash at the Aviva Stadium.

The tie will kick off at 6pm.

Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 11.

This famous fixture, which has seen more than 180,000 attendees at the last three outings in the capital, will be Munster second interprovincial tie of the season, with a clash versus Ulster at the Affidea Stadium taking place a week prior.

Clayton McMillan’s charges will be hoping for an improved URC campaign this time around. Munster's 2025/26 URC season came to an end after a 45-14 BKT URC quarter-final defeat to Bulls in Pretoria.

The province performed admirably to make the last eight, stringing together some impressive performances as the season came to a close, but McMillan’s side were well beaten in South Africa at the quarter-final stage.

They will face a Leinster side who are reigning URC champions following their comprehensive 36-7 final win over Vodacom Bulls at Croke Park in June.
