Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes digs deep to thank supporters of new farm business
The Kildimo native has shared an announcement on social media
STAR Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes has announced on social media that he is giving back to thank supporters of his new business venture, with a range of prizes up for grabs.
Hayes launched the new company, Hayes Farming Supplies, earlier this year.
The business stocks a wide range of farm essentials, including animal health products, fencing supplies, tools and everyday agricultural items.
It has been a busy few months for the Kildimo-Pallaskenry clubman, having launched a business and won an All-Ireland only weeks apart.
There’s no sign of his calendar calming down, as he was in Portugal celebrating the wedding of his Limerick teammate Gearoid Hegarty in August, and will be attending the nuptials of fellow teammate William O’Donoghue and his fiancée Gemma Cowen in two weeks’ time.
His club hurling season isn’t quite as positive, however, with Kildimo-Pallaskenry fighting to retain senior status.
Thankfully for the entrepreneur, things are going well in the business world.
To thank supporters of his new venture, Hayes has announced a social media giveaway.
Wellies and Hayes Farming Supplies clothing are among the items up for grabs, with the hurler describing the value of the bundle being over €200.
With five lucky winners being chosen, he’ll be giving away “over €1,000 worth of merch”.
This is not the Kildimo man’s first venture into entrepreneurship, with him co-founding a fast food business in 2024.
Bunda Brothers is a popular Limerick smash burger and chicken outlet owned by the company KDC Catering Limited.
Founded by Hayes and fellow Limerick hurling star Darragh O'Donovan, the business operates a take-away in Dooradoyle alongside mobile food trucks.
