Tommy Barrett's charges secured a safe passage to the play-offs after a professional 2-0 win away to Wexford FC at Ferrycarrig Park last week.
That win ensured the Shannonsiders’ a fifth-place finish and a play-off spot. Treaty's reward for that fifth-place finish is a two-legged tie against Munster rivals Cobh Ramblers, who finished second in the table on 69 points, 21 points ahead of Treaty.
Barrett's side won't fear that points tally, nor should they. The Garryowen-based side got the better of Cobh the last time the teams met at the Markets Field back in July, a late Mark Byrne goal giving Treaty all three points in a 2-1 victory.
Tommy Barrett is looking forward to tonight's clash.
"We've nothing to fear, we go into it knowing that they are a good side obviously, we know that they will be a tough challenge over two legs. They're the second best team in the division so we know that we will be up against it but we certainly have nothing to fear and that's the attitude we're going into it with," he said.
The second leg takes place in Cobh on Tuesday, October 28 and both legs will be streamed live on LOITV.
