The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and the Midwest Southwest Sustainable Energy Communities are calling on homeowners in the Limerick, Cork and Kerry regions to attend a dedicated home energy upgrade event aimed at helping them to learn how they can avail of government grants to make their homes warmer and more energy efficient.
The event, taking place in The Devon Inn Hotel, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick on Wednesday November 5th, is the first in a nationwide series being held in partnership with SEAI and local community energy groups to raise awareness and educate homeowners on the benefits and availability of SEAI Home Energy Upgrade Grants.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive practical information and advice on home energy upgrades and meet directly with SEAI registered One Stop Shops and contractors, as well as local finance providers offering the Government’s low-cost Home Energy Upgrade Loan.

Speaking on the Event Seán Sweeney, Regional Co-ordinator of the Midwest Southwest Sustainable Energy Communities said:

The Midwest Southwest Sustainable Energy Communities supports communities across the mid and south-west in Limerick, Cork, Tipperary and Kerry through mentoring and advise on developing energy management skills and knowledge in the local area.
