Alex Samuel scored a late winner as Partick Thistle came from behind to beat Greenock Morton 2-1 and keep up the pressure on William Hill Championship leaders St Johnstone.
Cammy MacPherson put Morton in front midway through the first half after good work from Michael Garrity and Zak Delaney.
Thistle were level at the break after Reuben Lopata-White was sent off for fouling Paddy Reading, though contact appeared minimal, and Ben Stanway tucked away the penalty.
Murray Johnson denied Samuel a second Thistle goal and the striker sent another effort just wide before popping up with an opportunistic finish that moved the visitors five points behind St Johnstone.
