Treaty United set for trip to Wexford FC in First Division

TREATY United return to action in the SSE Airtricity League First Division tonight, Friday, 7.45pm, when travelling to Ferrycarrig Park to take on Wexford FC.

Treaty had their scheduled First Division fixture with Waterford FC at the Markets Field on Friday night last postponed.
The game was postponed due to an unplayable surface affected by heavy rainfall.

A new date for the tie will be announced in due course.

Treaty United remain second from bottom in the First Division table with two points from their opening five fixtures. Treaty are one point ahead of league newcomers Kerry FC ahead of their trip to Ferrycarrig Park.

Following that fixture, Tommy Barrett's Treaty United side host Longford Town at the Markets Field on Good Friday, April 7.

Treaty United's most recent competitive outing was when a much-changed side suffered a 3-2 defeat to Cobh Ramblers in the semi-final of the Munster Senior Cup at Jackman Park just over a week ago.

Treaty's most recent league game was a 2-2 draw with Athlone Town on St Patrick's Day. Treaty led that game 2-0 thanks to a brace of goals from Enda Curran before 10-man Athlone hit back late on to earn a share of the spoils.
