According to the bookmakers (Paddy Power), Former Wales and Fulham manager Chris Coleman is the frontrunner for the Republic of Ireland job.
The FAI, who opted against renewing Stephen Kenny's contract in November, are on the lookout for a new men's manager ahead of the Boys in Green's upcoming fixtures against Belgium and Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium in March.
Bayern Munich and Portugal assistant manager Anthony Barry, England under-21 boss Lee Carsley and ex-Celtic manager Neil Lennon are the other names at the top of the bookies' list of candidates.
