GARDAI are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in County Limerick this Sunday night.
Shortly after 9pm, gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on New Street, Abbeyfeale. The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place. A report will be sent to the local coroner and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision. Additionally, anyone with video footage, including motorists with dash-cam footage from the area at the time, is asked to come forward.
