Section of Limerick Tunnel reopens after over-height vehicle causes closure

ONE of the lanes in the Limerick Tunnel that was closed this Monday afternoon due to an over-height vehicle has now reopened.

Motorists were being advised to use an alternative route as the northbound bore of the Limerick Tunnel was closed, according to AA Roadwatch.

A spokesperson for the Tunnel said the lane had reopened.

Traffic is moving well in the city, AA is reporting.
